First thing I should mention is my mother in law has been wanting me to try this place for a very long time. But I'm a large man and whenever I tried to come it was packed full and the dining area of this place is very small. All of the little table and chairs are kinda smashed in together. I finally got a chance to dine here and I must admit the biggest shock to me was just how extensive their menu was. They have a lot to offer on the menu. Much more than I'm used to from a place I would consider a local diner. I ordered a club sandwich and some fries. It was a rather large sandwich. And the fries were nice and crisp. I liked them a lot. I will say I'm glad I came finally however my large self will maybe just order something to go. Bit too cramped for me.

Small town county restaurant...... We were heading home and we just happened to come across this place. We had a great lunch and were very happy we dropped in. The staff were very friendly, and the food was delicious. My wife is a celiac but they did not have a lot of choices for her. However the staff was helpful in getting the information for her on salad dressing so she could have a salad. They had some nice soups on the menu but didn't serve them until after 4 pm so I didn't get to try them. They have a lot of desserts there that are home made..... If you're in the area it's worth checking out....

This is a small hometown restaurant. Nothing fancy, just good home cooking. People are very friendly. Service on this visit was a little slow, but they were very busy. This was our second visit. First time was for breakfast, which was simple, but delicious. This time was a mid afternoon lunch. Once again, simple but delicious. If you're looking for yummy home cooked meals, this is a good option. We will be back.

My son and I stopped in on Father's day after going to a baseball game that morning. I ordered the meat lovers omelet and my son had the pancakes, eggs and sausage. The place was really busy, but we only had to wait a couple of minutes for a table. Once seated, our drink order was taken pretty quickly. The food took a little longer than I expected, but it was worth the wait. My coffee cup was empty for a good while, but was eventually refilled.

Ordered the meat omelet with home fries and pretzel roll. The food was very good. The atmosphere seemed to be very nice and it seemed like everyone knew everyone, which was nice. The staff was super friendly and they all worked with each other. When you walk in, you can sit anywhere you would like. Very happy with the experience!

Great diner just off Rt 15 in Thurmont, MD. My husband and I both ordered Reubens. His with rye bread, mine with sour dough. The bread was perfectly grilled, nice amount of meat, cheese, sauerkraut and Thousand Island dressing. The crab pasta salad was creamy with a touch of Old Bay seasoning.
